OBJECTIVES

To prepare for life after high school

To educate youth about the necessary life skills that will enable them to become future leaders in Church and society.
We will accomplish these objectives by:

Conducting monthly programs to teach youth a different life skill or life experience
-
Putting youth into groups which will provide an element of teamwork and accountability
-
Assigning youth with mentors who will be an additional resource for information
Roles and Responsibilities:
-
To develop positive relationships with mentees
-
To gain experience which will prove useful in other areas of life.

To communicate the mentor’s life experiences and insights to mentees.

To develop a network of support for mentees
-
To attend and actively participate in monthly worship services
-
To attend monthly sessions and participate with mentees

To have fun
Roles and Responsibilities of Mentees:

To develop a positive relationship with mentor

To set and achieve personal and spiritual goals

To develop self-respect, self-esteem, and responsible behavior

To develop confidence and competence in academic, professional, social, and biblical skills

To make positive decisions about the future
